Heliogabalus) invenitur --- qui subito militum strepitu exterritus in angulum se condidit --- Antiochanus igitur ex Praesfectis unus, milites, qui in hortos venerant, et sacramenti admonitione exoravit, ne illum occiderent, quia nec multi venerant et plerique cum vexillo, quod Aristomachus Tribunus retinuerat, remanserant.

Erat autem Oraculum tale:
Νίκην σοὶ φαίνουσι θεοὶ δἰ ὁδοῖο ςτενύγοων,
Victoriam tibi ostendunt Dii per viam angustiarum humidarum.
Quod cum is interpretaretur de Isthmo Corinthiaco, per illum aggressus Peloponnesios, in pugna occubuit, Euseb. Praepar. l. 1. c. 20. Pater Temeni, Cresphontis et Aristodemi, qui demum intellexerunt τρίτον καρπὸν, tertium fructum, in oraculo Hyllo dato, non γῆς, terrae, sive triennium, sed γενεὰς, generationes tres: et ςτενύγοην in altero Oraculo, non Isthmum Corinthiacum, sed fretum illud esse, inter Rhium et Antiochium, quod Aetolos dirimit a Peloponneso.
